Virginia recently released COVIDwise, a contact tracing app that helps notify when the people around you have been affected by Corona. The app is meant to help people who are more prone to Corona such as people with autoimmune diseases, people with compromised immune systems and people who are high-risk. Usually, people who’ve had bouts of cancer in their life or even Lupus or more prone to Corona and should try their best to keep healthy and safe. 

When the citizens of Virginia test positive for Corona, they’re usually notified by the health department. They receive messages on their phone that includes a pin and the user then has to enter it into the COVIDwise app. The app helps to notify others who’ve joined the app of the proximity of the infected people around. The great thing about it is that you also get a notification bell on your phone just like when you receive email updates.
